大家好，我叫王恩柔。我是在多伦多出生和长大的，后来搬到温哥华来上大学。我想给大家介绍的电影叫《鲁冰花》。这是我妈妈小时候在台湾看的电影。虽然这是一部老片，我看完之后觉得这部电影有一些非常深刻的内容，也拍的非常漂亮，故事十分伤心。如果你对台湾乡村的生活有兴趣，我欢迎你们跟我一起看下去！ Hi everyone, my name is Stephanie Wang. I was born and raised in Toronto, and I moved to Vancouver for university. The movie I want to share with everyone is called “The Dull Ice Flower”. This is a movie my mom watched in Taiwan when she was younger. Even though it’s an old movie, after watching it, I feel like it has a really meaningful message, and is shot beautifully, with a sad story. 您好大家，我叫梁轩霖。这是我关于时代的专题研究。我小的时候，因为家长平时不在家，所以这段跟我爸爸看电影时间对我有很大的影响。我看这些香港电影的时候不但跟我爸爸有家庭联结时间，而且能找到我自己对代沟的印象。我介绍的电影是我小学的时候哪一个最喜欢的，这部电影叫赌神。虽然这部电影没有什么特别的道德，但是这种思考让我明白有的时候，最重要的是我们对一件事的看法，不是我们赚到什么奖的原因。我希望您喜欢我的小视频，请您告诉我一下您们对这片视频的想法！ Hi everyone, my name is Eric Leung. This is my personal reflection project on the topic of generations. When I was very young, due to the fact that my parents were not often home, this brought me to realize the times which I’ve spent watching movies with my father has greatly influenced my childhood. Watching these Hong Kong movies, I’ve not only experienced family bonding but also my own contemplation of on topic of generation gaps. The movie I would like to introduce is one of my childhood favorites, this movie is called The God of Gamblers. Although this movie doesn’t depict a lot of morals but this reflection has led me to realize that sometimes the most substantial aspect is our personal perspectives in the process of a situation, not the benefits which we reap. I was born in Guangzhou, China, and after some time of moving around the globe, we settled down in Vancouver, Canada. I actually watched this movie in another one of my classes this term and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was discussing this movie with my family when I found out this was once one of my grandma's favourite movies. So, if you want to learn a bit about the Cultural Revolution during the Socialist era in China, I believe you'll enjoy following around our protagonist, Lin, on her journey following the life of Communism.
